Most punters and pundits will tell you that a high draw is an advantage in sprints at Hamilton but that’s not the case in big fields when they are spread right across the track. Since the beginning of 2016, had we backed all horses drawn in stall 10 or higher who were competing in a Hamilton sprint handicap of 12 or more runners we’d have won just four of our 122 bets and made a loss of over £104 to a £1 level stake at SP.
