Jurgen Klopp expected to make two changes for big clash

Following a tremendous run in all competitions, the predicted Liverpool team to face Tottenham may see Klopp make two changes from midweek.

Liverpool have been one of Europe’s best teams all season. They proved that in the week, advancing to the Champions League final after a 5-2 win on aggregate against Villarreal.

They also advanced to the final of the FA Cup not long ago, with a 3-2 win over Manchester City. Between those games, the Reds beat rivals Manchester United and Everton, 4-0 and 2-0, respectively.

Their last league game saw Klopp’s side beat in-form Newcastle United 1-0.

Klopp has a lot going for him at the moment. His players are in form, and he almost has a full compliment available to him. He admitted that it “might be possible” for Roberto Firmino to be involved this weekend, following injury. The Brazilian is the only player out as it stands.

Last time out – Villarreal 2-3 Liverpool

Alisson Becker started in net, as is usually the case in both the league and the Champions League. Star full-back duo Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andrew Robertson started as the wide defenders.

Between them were Virgil van Dijk and Ibrahima Konate, with the latter becoming a Liverpool regular in his first season at Anfield.

The midfield trio saw Fabinho – who scored his eighth goal of the season – play alongside Thiago Alcantara and in-form Naby Keita.

Ever-present attackers Sadio Mane – who scored the winner in the second leg itself – and Mohamed Salah were joined in the attack by Diogo Jota, who was preferred to Luis Diaz.

Predicted Liverpool team against Tottenham

As we enter crunch time in the season, with Liverpool just one point behind leaders Manchester City, the Reds will want to put out a strong team in each game.

Alisson is likely to remain in net. Alexander-Arnold and Robertson should once again play in the full-back positions, to contend with the pacy Spurs attack.
