May 4, 2022 – United Soccer League One (USL1) – Central Valley Fuego FC News Release
FRESNO, Calif. – Central Valley Fuego FC today announced it has signed Alexis Cerritos as the club builds its roster for its inaugural 2022 USL League One season. The signing is pending league and federation approval.
Born in Santa Clara, Calif and raised in Bowie, Md. Cerritos joins former teammates Nathan Smith and Tunde Akinlosotu. He has competed for a couple USL Championship clubs including Rio Grande Valley FC in 2021 and Orange County SC in 2020.
“I’m super excited and thankful for the opportunity to play for this club, and ready to work,” said Cerritos. “I’m looking forward to having a successful year and striving for a championship this year.”
Cerritos has played internationally for C.F. Pachuca in Liga MX U-20 and U-17 teams. He also represented the El Salvador national team and recorded two caps.
