Colorado Springs, CO – The Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC and the USL Championship officially announced today that Jeff Caldwell and Hadji Barry have been named to the Team of the Week for Week 8 of the 2022 season, presented by Konami eFootball.
Jeff Caldwell earned team of the week honors after a stellar performance on Saturday night against Oakland Roots SC, recording five saves, including a penalty kick that set the tone for the evening, and earning his fourth clean sheet of the season so far.
Hadji Barry recorded a goal and a assist on Saturday’s match, and completed 23 of 27 passes for an 85% passing accuracy. So far this season the 2021 Championship MVP has recorded three goals and four assists.
The Switchbacks are now 7-1-0 in the league, putting them in the no.1 slot in the Western Conference for the second straight week. See the Switchbacks play this Thursday at home against Rio Grande Valley FC in a Cinco De Mayo showdown. They will be back on the road next weekend against San Diego Loyal.
