Paris Saint-Germain are prepared to offload starman Neymar this summer as part of a rebuild by taking a huge loss on the player they paid a world record fee for.

Neymar arrived at the Parc des Princes to huge fanfare in the summer of 2017 when PSG paid his Barcelona release clause of £198million (€222m) to bring him to the French capital in a move that stunned football.

While the striker has impressed in front of goal since then, scoring 98 times in 141 games, he has been unable to help the club deliver their target of the Champions League crown.

Under Thomas Tuchel they reached the final in 2020 only to fall at the last hurdle to Bayern Munich, with Neymar reduced to tears in the aftermath.

But having been dumped out of the last-16 at the hands of Real Madrid this season, a revolution is being planned at the club and Neymar could be sold for as little as £76million (€90m) according to reports from Sky Sports and Spanish outlet AS.

It means the French club are willing to take a loss of up to £122m for the Brazil international, although the £76m quote is thought to be the minimum price club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi will negotiate at.
