Mohamed Salah has declared that he wants the “unbelievable” feeling of winning the Champions League with Liverpool again this season.

The Reds are on course for a seventh European cup as one of a total of four potential trophies this season. If they get past Villarreal in the semi-finals, they could yet play Manchester City in the final.

City are subsequently seeking to clinch their first Champions League title. They got to the final last year but lost to Chelsea.

“The feeling we had in the city when we went on the bus and toured was unbelievable.

“The Premier League was kind of different because it was not done [due to COVID-19 restrictions], but I want to win the Champions League again and I want to win the Premier League again.

“That is my target with the team right now.”

Liverpool face a Villarreal side in the semi-finals of the Champions League who have proved the surprise package. And Klopp has insisted that his players will not underestimate the Spaniards, as Juventus and Bayern Munich perhaps did.
