Arsenal star Martin Odegaard has jokingly urged international team-mate Erling Haaland to join him at Arsenal next season.
The pair, who play together for Norway, are good friends. But the Gunners star says he has not spoken to Haaland about his future. The 21-year-old Borussia Dortmund man is expected to move on this summer. And there are no shortage of suitors for the prolific marksman.
All of Europe’s big guns have been linked with Haaland, including Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich.
Chelsea in fact failed with a bid to sign the player last summer. The Blues are understood to have seen a number of offers rejected by Dortmund.
This summer Man City are expected to go hard after the Leeds-born striker, who is reported to have a release clause set at €75m this summer.
City boss Pep Guardiola refused to be drawn on Haaland earlier this month.
Asked whether Haaland was a target, he replied: “No answer to your question.”

Haaland is a ‘beast’
Further lack of comment came when he added: “No answer about these questions. I have another concern and business in my head right now (than) to think what will happen in this club next season.”
But Arsenal star Odegaard, who labels Haaland a “beast”, thinks the 25-goal striker should head to The Emirates.
Speaking to Stadium Astro, Odegaard said: “He [Haaland] is a funny guy. A good friend of mine and a great player.
“We will see what he will do. I don’t know – but, if he is coming to England, he needs to come to us [Arsenal] of course!
