Man Utd player 'would love' Mourinho reunion and is 'offered' to Roma

According to reports, Man Utd midfielder Nemanja Matic has been ‘offered’ to Roma ahead of the summer transfer window.

Matic confirmed last week that this is going to be his last season at Manchester United. 

The midfielder is out of contract this summer so he will be departing the Reds Devils on a free transfer.

The Serbia international signed for Man Utd in 2017 from Chelsea for around £40m. He has played just short of 200 times for United.

Calciomercato (via Sport Witness) are reporting that Matic has been ‘offered’ to Mourinho’s Roma. The player and manager previously worked together at Chelsea and Man Utd.

It is claimed that the 33-year-old ‘would love’ to work with Mourinho again.

Elsewhere, Jesse Lingard believes Man Utd’s game against Arsenal this weekend is a “free hit”:

“Yeah, it’s another free hit. We’ll go there with the mindset of winning, staying on the front foot, being intense, doing the basics and having that energy to go and win the game.

“We need to work hard first before you can start playing, so win the individual battles and then we’ll win the game hopefully.
