Euro Paper Talk: Tottenham given hope of landing Germany-based star with £70m double deal already agreed; Arsenal open talks to sign Serie A standout

Tottenham have been lifted in their hopes of signing a promising Germany-based centre-back as they also close in on a £70million double deal, while Thursday’s Euro Paper Talk claims Arsenal have opened discussions to sign Torino star Gleison Bremer.

DOUBLE DEAL ON AS TOTTENHAM HANDED TARGET BOOST

Tottenham’s chances of signing Bochum youngster Armel Bella-Kotchap appear to have given a boost with the news that the player is looking for an agency to represent him in England.

BILD states the talented 20-year-old ‘looking for the super advisor’ to secure him the move he wants this year.

Sport Witness revealed last month that the player was set on a move this summer after establishing himself for Bochum this season.

The player could also be available for as little as €10million (£8.3m), making him more than affordable for the likes of Tottenham, who are already set to spend £70m of their allocated summer budget in the coming months.

BILD adds that Bella-Kotchap is actively trying to make the transfer happen, giving Spurs hope in the process.

Adding a talented youngster to Antonio Conte’s first-team squad for a low fee will certainly come as music to the ears of Tottenham sporting director Fabio Paratici.

The north London club look set to blow £70m of their summer transfer budget on sealing the permanent signings of both Cristian Romero and Dejan Kulusevski.

Football.London’s Alasdair Gold reports that Paratici will active the purchase options on both players at the end of the season after their incredible success since arriving.

However, doing that will mean Spurs have £70m less to spend on any more additions.

Gold said: “Making both Cristian Romero and Dejan Kulusevski’s moves permanent will have to be taken into account of course. That’s almost £70m that Spurs will have to pay out this summer and they will do so because every penny is absolutely worth it.”
