Tottenham have entered the frame to sign Liverpool, Man Utd, Arsenal and Juventus target Youri Tielemans, and where the Leicester man will end up has been suggested, per a report.
The Belgian has developed into one of the finest midfielders the Premier League has to offer. Tielemans was instrumental in helping Leicester to successive fifth-placed finishes over the past two seasons. He then wrote his name into Foxes folklore by scoring the winner in their first ever FA Cup triumph.
However, Leicester have come back down to earth this year and have failed in their quest to pin Tielemans down to fresh terms.
The 24-year-old will have just 12 months left on his current deal after the current season. Unsurprisingly, that’s led to rampant speculation he could be sold in the summer to avoid losing him for free a year later.
Signing Youri Tielemans is seemingly an attractive prospect for a host of England’s elite.
He has shown over multiple seasons he is capable of cutting it in the Premier League. Furthermore, his contract status means Leicester won’t be able to command his true market value.
Indeed, the Telegraph reported in late-March that a deal could be made for just £25m.
That would represent superb value and Man Utd, Liverpool and Arsenal reportedly took note.
