Thomas Tuchel has batted away any suggestions over a move to Manchester United at the end of the season and claimed he has ‘plenty of reasons’ to stay at Chelsea.
The German’s potential availability caught the football world unawares but is now a possibility given the crippling sanctions placed on Chelsea over owner Roman Abramovich’s ties to Vladimir Putin and the war in Ukraine.
While Chelsea strive to find a new owner as quickly as possible, with final bids for the Blues from interested parties to be entered by Friday, other top-flight clubs are poised to take advantage of any financial repercussions that could see players, or even the manager, seek to leave.
