FARUM, Denmark — Penn State alumna Jessie Davis extended her contract with the Danish women’s football club, FC Nordsjælland, on Friday.
Davis arrived at FC Nordsjælland in the summer of 2020 and has played 38 matches for FC Nordsjællands women’s senior team.
She has also played professionally in the U.S., Australia, Sweden, and Ireland.
A two-time Nittany Lion captain, Davis played at Penn State from 2005-08. During her time in Happy Valley, the Penn State women’s soccer program claimed four Big Ten Championship titles and two Big Ten Tournament Championship titles.
The Fairfax, Va. Native is a Scholar All-American, two-time All-Big Ten honoree, three-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree and a Big Ten Distinguished Scholar. In both 2007 and 2008, Davis was named the team’s most outstanding defensive player.
