– ACC men’s soccer hits the stretch run of the 2022 regular season Friday with the seventh weekend of league matches. There is one matchup between ranked teams, with No. 24 Virginia playing host to No. 25 Wake Forest on Saturday evening.
ACC Network will air a doubleheader on Friday, with North Carolina at Boston College at 6 p.m. and Pitt at No. 2 Duke at 8 p.m.
Five ACC teams are ranked in the latest United Soccer Coaches poll, the most of any conference. Six ACC teams hold spots in the latest NCAA RPI, with Syracuse grabbing the No. 1 position this week.
League play wraps up on Friday, Oct. 28, with the 2022 ACC Championship beginning with first-round matches on Wednesday, Nov. 2.

Noting ACC Men’s Soccer
• Syracuse can clinch the Atlantic Division title with a win and a Wake Forest loss this weekend. Duke can secure the Coastal Division crown with a win combined with a Virginia loss this weekend.
• In the second NCAA RPI release, announced Monday, three ACC teams are among the top 10 and six are in the top 25. Both totals are most of any conference. Syracuse is No. 1 in the RPI.
• Five ACC teams are ranked in the latest United Soccer Coaches poll. That is the most of any league.
• Duke is tied for No. 2 in the USC poll this week and is followed by Syracuse (4), Louisville (11), Virginia (24) and Wake Forest (25).
