ANN ARBOR, Mich. –– No. 5 Northwestern ran away with a 3-0 shutout win on the road Thursday at U-M Soccer Stadium.
The victory improved Northwestern’s record to 12-1-2 overall and 6-0-1 in Big Ten action.

Northwestern grabbed a 1-0 lead when Caterina Regazzoni scored her third goal of the season in the 43rd minute, assisted by Paige Miller.

The Wildcats extended their lead to 2-0 on a goal from Aurea Del Carmen — her sixth goal of the season — in the 60th minute, assisted by Emma Phillips and Nicole Doucette.

Northwestern went up 3-0 on Ella Hase’s 84th-minute goal, her third of the season. The 3-0 scoreline held until the final whistle.
