When Republic FC fans come together at Cesar Chavez Plaza to cheer on the Indomitable Club in the U.S. Open Cup Final, there will undoubtedly be a lot of excitement and energy. The September 7 Watch Party – hosted by Republic FC, Vice Mayor Angelique Ashby, Kellogg’s, and Downtown Partnership – will feature a huge outdoor screen to watch the game, a wide range of food and drink options, giveaways, AND some special appearances.
RSVP FOR THE WATCH PARTY & BE A PART OF SACRAMENTO HISTORY
As if that wasn’t enough to bring fans downtown for the free event, the club will also offer a new Watch Party exclusive: a commemorative U.S. Open Cup shirt. Designed in-house by Republic FC’s creative team, the shirt will only be purchased at the Watch Party – it will not be available at the club’s Team Store or at the Final in Orlando.
Fans can also pick up a commemorative, limited-edition U.S. Open Cup Final Match Up scarf. The scarf features both Republic FC and its opponent, MLS side Orlando City SC, as well as the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup logo. A limited quantity of scarves is available in the Team Store now, and can also be purchased at the Watch Party. Fans making the trip to Orlando will be able to purchase a scarf at Exploria Stadium on gameday.

The Final kicks off from Exploria Stadium in Orlando at 5:00 p.m. PT. Watch Party gates open at 4:00 p.m. and the first 4,000 fans will receive a free Republic FC flag courtesy of Vice Mayor Angelique Ashby. Admission is free, but RSVP is required for entry.
