Tottenham have confirmed the signing of goalkeeper Fraser Forster on a two-year deal.
The 34-year-old is out of contract at Southampton at the end of this month, so joins Antonio Conte‘s squad on a free transfer.
He is Spurs’ second signing of the summer after Ivan Perisic, who has joined on a two-year deal from Inter Milan.

Forster, who has six England caps to his name, departs Southampton after eight years at St Mary’s. He made 19 Premier League appearances last season after replacing the injured Alex McCarthy.
The goalkeeper started his career at Newcastle, while he has four Scottish Premiership titles to his name from four different spells at Celtic.
Forster will be Spurs’ second-choice goalkeeper behind Hugo Lloris, following the departure of Pierluigi Gollini.
