Clemson United Signs Seven – Clemson Tigers Official Athletics Site

Clemson, S.C. – Clemson head coach Mike Noonan has announced seven additions to the Clemson Family in Xander Sevian, Cooper Hineline, Abdou Mane, Seamus Streelman, Augustine Asante, Reid Raintree, and Kwaku Agyabeng.

Kwaku Agyabeng

Kwaku Agyabeng, from Kumasi, Ghana, is a midfielder from St. Benedict’s Prep in New Jersey that led his team to two state titles and two national championships. He was a first team all-state and all-region player in 2024. He played with Cedar Stars Academy and helped them win two national titles. He was a member of his high school’s honor roll and is the son of Cynthia and Silas Ntiako Agyabeng.

On choosing Clemson:

“I chose Clemson because of their outstanding soccer program and the welcoming environment. Additionally, their strong academic reputation was a significant factor for me.”

Reid Raintree

Reid Raintree is a midfielder from Aiken, S.C., who joined the Tigers at the beginning of the spring semester. Raintree is a three-star recruit (TopDrawerSoccer) who was named All-State in 2024, as well as earning Region Player of the Year (2024). He is a three-time all-region player from Aiken HS, who was the 2023 Capital City Cup MVP. He was an honor roll member, a National Honors Society member and earned the Cambridge AICE Diploma. Raintree played with South Carolina United FC. He has three siblings, and his sister, Lily, is a track and field athlete at USC Beaufort. He is the son of Joel and Joy Raintree. 

On choosing Clemson:

“It’s the best soccer school in the country. It’s close to home and it has a great engineering program.”

Seamus Streelman

Seamus Streelman is a defender from Atlanta, Ga., coming to Clemson to study sports communication. He played at Midtown HS and club for Atlanta United and is a three-star recruit according to Top Drawer Soccer. He is a member of the National Honors Society and his sister, Archer, plays soccer at Cal. His dad, Todd, played lacrosse at Bucknell and he’s the son of Amy and Todd Streelman. 

On choosing Clemson:

Cooper Hineline

Cooper Hineline is a midfielder from Denver, Colo., coming to Clemson from Ralston Valley HS. He participated in the 2024 IMG Academy All-Star game, was First Team All-State (2022/23), and was on the 2023 MLS Next Cup Team of the Tournament.
