Sophomore goalkeeper Kate Phillips is poised to make her fifth consecutive start and sixth appearance on the season on Thursday.

Ole Miss (5-9-0, 0-5-0 SEC) enters Thursday on the heel of six straight losses, most recently falling 4-1 to Texas A&M on Friday evening.

The Rebels are coached by Molly Rouse. Rouse is in her second season with the team and is the third head coach in the program’s history. After three successful years at Utah Tech, Rouse’s first year in Oxford boded an impressive 6-1-2 home record.

Rouse started her career on the sidelines under Tigers’ head coach Stefanie Golan in Minnesota. Rouse and Golan were together in 2018 when the Golden Gophers won the Big Ten Tournament title over No. 15 Penn State and beat Auburn in the first round of the NCAA Tournament for their first postseason road win in program history.

Thursday will mark the 11th meeting between the two teams with Missouri holding a 5-3-2 series lead. Ole Miss won the last meeting 2-1 on October 5, 2023.
