Stanford’s de Flores, ND’s Bartlett Notch ACC Men’s Soccer Player of Week Honors

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – Stanford junior forward Shane de Flores was named Atlantic Coast Conference Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, while Notre Dame freshman defender Jacob Bartlett earned ACC Defensive Player of the Week honors, it was announced Tuesday.

A native of Danville, California, de Flores scored the game-winning goal in No. 5 Stanford’s 3-2 road win over No. 2 Clemson on Friday evening. He played a season-high 82 minutes. De Flores recorded his fourth goal of the season and is averaging 0.8 goals per game through five games, the third-best mark in the ACC and the 20th-best mark in the NCAA.
