Ipswich Town have made a £15m offer for Sunderland winger Jack Clarke.
Sunderland are in talks to sign Red Bull Salzburg striker Roko Simic.
Clarke is poised to have a medical with Ipswich on Friday.
During his time at Sunderland, Clarke made 114 appearances and scored 28 goals, while he provided 23 assists.
Clarke started his career at Leeds before joining Tottenham in 2019 but he made just four senior appearances for the North London club.

While at Tottenham, Clarke had loan spells at Leeds, QPR, Stoke and Sunderland; he was also capped by England at Under-20 level.
Ipswich boss Kieran McKenna has brought in a host of players during this transfer window, including the acquisition of Sammie Szmodics and the loan arrivals of Kalvin Phillips and Jens Cajuste.
Simic has impressed for Croatia Under-21s and has had loan spells at Liefering and Zurich.
