Men's Soccer Announces 2024 Schedule

DURHAM, N.C. – The schedule for the upcoming season of Duke men’s soccer has been unveiled by head coach John Kerr. Duke is coming off a 2023 season that saw the Blue Devils earn their fifth-consecutive top-16 national seed in the NCAA Tournament and a record of 10-1-1 inside the friendly confines of Koskinen Stadium. The 2024 schedule is highlighted by two trips to the West Coast – a season-opening two-match swing and the program’s first conference matchup against Stanford later in the season.

Duke plays three exhibition matches during the preseason, with two being contested in Durham. First, the Blue Devils travel to Coastal Carolina on Aug. 8 before returning home for additional exhibitions versus UNC Asheville on Aug. 13 and Georgetown on Aug. 16.

The regular season begins on Aug. 22 with a matchup at San Diego and Duke’s first of two trips west concludes against UC San Diego on Aug. 25. Duke’s first match back home lands on Aug. 30, against Grand Canyon.

The month of September begins in Durham, with the Blue Devils squaring off versus Averett on Sept. 1, before Duke hits the road to open ACC play, at Virginia, on Sept. 6. Three more conference games follow to close out the month, with Duke welcoming rival North Carolina to Koskinen (Sept. 13) before hitting the road for matches at Stanford (Sept. 22) and at NC State (Sept. 27).

October kicks off with a home match against SMU on Oct. 4, followed by a mid-week road match at Elon on Oct. 8. The Blue Devils then play five of their final six games at home, starting with a three-match stretch of Wake Forest (Oct. 12), Howard (Oct. 16) and Queens (Oct. 22) in Koskinen. Duke travels to Virginia Tech (Oct. 25) for one final road conference clash, before closing out the 2024 regular season campaign in Durham versus Longwood (Oct. 29) and Notre Dame (Nov. 1).

Additional information about ticket options will be announced at a later date. Dates, opponents and locations are subject to change.
