Mason Greenwood has put his £2million Manchester mansion up for rent, according to a report.

The Manchester United forward, who has spent the 2023-24 season on loan at Getafe in Spain, was arrested in January 2022 after allegations of attempted rape and assault.

Charges were later dropped, but the now-22-year-old has not played for the Red Devils since and faces an uncertain future ahead of the summer transfer window opening.

It was ruled last year that it would be for the best for Greenwood to play away from United, leading to his move to LaLiga, but who will be his team next season remains to be seen.

One indication may have been given, however, with the forward, according to The Sun, putting his fully-furnished home up up for rent at £14,000-a-month.

The house is said to have six bedrooms, six bathrooms and is being circulated privately among high-end letting agents.

Located in Bowdon, Cheshire, it is said to have a games room, a gym, a home office, and is reportedly dubbed ‘the perfect family home’. 

Greenwood, whose contract at United expires next summer, has been linked with a number of clubs ahead of the upcoming transfer window.

He is thought to be earning just short of £80,000-a-week from the club, having put pen to paper on a four-and-a-half year deal in February 2021.

Greenwood’s move to Spain was widely criticised but he has been well-supported by Getafe and their fans since his arrival, while he has excelled on the pitch, scoring 10 goals in 34 appearances for the LaLiga outfit.

According to The AthleticNapoli have made contact with United over a potential move for the forward this summer. 

Greenwood, meanwhile, is believed to want to test himself at a higher level next season, with this potentially including clubs competing in European competitions. 

The report goes onto state that the Red Devils would prefer to sell Greenwood, but a second loan has not been ruled out if they are unable to receive a fee that they deem appropriate.
