Today we unveil a new black kit, our first with new partner hummel, the ‘County Roads’ kit.
This kit will be worn by our players on the road, but no matter how far the journey takes us, they will always have the County right there alongside them.
The County Roads kit is an homage to the OC. The jet black kit features orange detailing throughout, with the largest detail being the road map of Orange County on the front. The sleeves and collar also each have orange accents, and OCSC is written in orange at the neckline in the back. The message ‘Your County, Your Club’ is written inside the collar and, as all OCSC shirts this season will have, features a ‘For County’ jock tag in the shape of the OC.
The road map design is an ode to the signature chant of our supporters group, the County Line Coalition. At the beginning of every match, the CLC belts out County Roads to the tune of the iconic classic “Country Roads” by John Denver.
The message is clear: wherever our players go across the country, they will have OC close to their hearts.
And we want our fans to do the same. For the 2024 season, we are also announcing a competition for our fans. At any point throughout the 2024 season, if you post a photo in your very own County Roads kit on social media using #countyroads and tag us, you will have a chance of being featured in a monthly club montage.
Everyone who posts will be entered to win an all-expenses paid trip with the Black and Orange on the road to Las Vegas when they take on the Lights on October 5. Flights, hotel, tickets to the game and even a chance to have breakfast with the players on matchday!
