- Luke Littler is coming off the back of his incredible run at Alexandra Palace
- The 16-year-old darts phenomenon is a massive fan of Manchester United
- He has named the one player he would sign for the under performing Red Devils
Manchester United supporter Luke Littler has named the one player he believes the Red Devils should sign during the January transfer window.
The 16-year-old is the talk of the sporting world after his incredible run to the final at the World Darts Championship.
He played his part in a thrilling final at Ally Pally on Wednesday night, though it was Luke Humphries who ultimately took the crown with a 7-4 victory.
Following the success of the tournament, both men were invited onto Sky Sports News less than 24 hours later, and the topic turned to football for Littler.
Speaking about the Red Devils, he jokingly asked Sky Sports presenter Emma Paton ‘why you laughing’ after she mentioned he supported the club, and also named Napoli striker Victor Osimhen as the one player Erik ten Hag should sign this month.

Paton, who is also a Manchester United fan said: ‘Luke, you’ve got messages from David Beckham, Luke Shaw, Gary Neville. It’s no secret you are a Man United fan, what do you make of their season?’
Littler quickly butted in as he joked: ‘Why you laughing? Why you laughing?’
He went on to add: ‘It’s been difficult with the injuries we’ve got and everyone’s saying Ten Hag out and this and that but I say give him time and when the players are all back fit lets see who he chooses.’
The topic then switched to his enjoyment of playing Football Manager, where he revealed he has got United up to second in the table using the same squad that they do today.
When asked by Paton who United should sign, Littler said: ‘We just bought Rasmus Hojlund for loads of money but I’d probably get Osimhen from Napoli.’
Manchester United are unlikely to do any big business during the January transfer window after the recent arrival of Sir Jim Ratcliffe at the club.
