Huskies Battle To Draw At San Diego State

SAN DIEGO – Down a goal at the half, Washington fought to a one all draw at San Diego State on Sunday afternoon at SDSU Sports Deck.
 
Washington moves to 5-5-6 overall on the season and 2-4-3 in Pac-12 action.
 
The Huskies applied the pressure early, but San Diego was the first to capitalize, breaking through in the 23rd minute for the 1-0 advantage.
 
Coming out of the half, Washington was able to force a corner. Nate Jones’ header off the set piece tied the match at one 22 seconds into the half, his third goal of the season. Nick O’Brien and Imanol Rosales. The assist for Rosales moves him into solo fourth all-time in program history with 26.

 
Sam Fowler notched four saves in the contest, tying the second-most this season for the fifth-year senior.
 
The Huskies were able to force seven shots on goal with eight corner kicks.
 
Up next, the Huskies have a bye weekend before closing out the regular season at Oregon State on Thursday, Nov. 9. The match will be available across Pac-12 Networks.
