Former Manchester United defender Paul Parker thinks ex-Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino would be “perfect” for the Chelsea job.
Graham Potter was sacked by the Blues at the beginning of this month with the former Brighton manager only managing 12 wins in 31 matches in all competitions.
Chelsea coach Bruno Saltor was in charge of their 0-0 draw against Liverpool at Stamford Bridge before Frank Lampard was re-appointed as the new caretaker boss until the end of the season.
Lampard got a good idea of the task facing him when he took charge of his first match against Wolves over the weekend with Chelsea losing 1-0 to stay 11th in the Premier League.

“He did amazingly well with Tottenham. He got them into the top four, he took them to the Champions League final and the fans loved him.
“He plays entertaining football and he could do big things with Chelsea.”
Former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has been linked with a possible third spell in charge at Stamford Bridge but Parker thinks it would be the wrong decision.
Parker added: “The last person I want to watch at Chelsea is Jose Mourinho.. And I don’t think that Chelsea wants him back for the third time.
“They are tired of his arrogance and they have to move on even though it would be typical for Chelsea to do something like that and hire him.”
One player Lampard will be looking to get the best out of before the end of the season is Raheem Sterling and the caretaker Chelsea boss is still a big fan of the former Liverpool and Manchester City attacker.
Lampard said: “Raheem has been there and done it and there’s history of producing. I think he’s a fantastic player. He’s been one of the best wingers in the world for a long time, at times, maybe in some people’s opinion, the best.
“He’s risen to games like that before in the past so that’s something we’ll obviously rely on in terms of this because…
