COLUMBUS – Columbus Crew today announced the return of multiple activations as part of its programing for this weekend’s match against D.C. United at Lower.com Field on Saturday, April 30 [7:30 p.m. ET / Bally Sports Ohio / Bally Sports App (Stream) / 97.1 The Fan & 971thefan.com (English); ColumbusCrew.com (Spanish)]. In advance of the match, Crew fans of all ages are invited pre-game to join the lively and inclusive March to the Match on Saturday. In a Black & Gold showing through the downtown Arena District and ending in Astor Park, the march provides an opportunity to capture the intense build-up to each home matchday at Lower.com Field in a new tradition that returns in the Crew’s first full season at Lower.com Field. Supporters are encouraged to meet up at Goodwood Brewing next to Battelle Plaza (401 N. Front Street
Columbus, OH 43215) – the main rally point – beginning at 6 p.m. ET and departing for the stadium at 6:30 p.m. ET. Supporters curious about the March to the Match are encouraged to click here.
Supporters attending the match on Saturday are reminded that the Arena District DORA is activated three hours before every Crew home match and extends to Nationwide Boulevard into Astor Park until midnight Eastern Time. The DORA provides additional downtown, matchday experience opportunities for Black & Gold supporters, with additional details available at arenadistrict.com/dora.
New this match, The Pub at Lower.com Field will open at 4:24 p.m. ET, giving Crew fans with a match ticket the opportunity to enjoy a 96-minute happy hour before gates open. Specials include $5 draft domestic and craft beers, $5 BBQ Pulled Turkey Sando with Tobacco Onions, and $3 hot dogs.
