“We couldn’t be happier to bring Addy to Florida. She’s quite familiar with our program having attended our ID camp and being club teammates with Megan (Hinnenkamp),” Florida Head Coach Samantha Bohon said. “She’s not afraid of a challenge and thrives on a blue collar work ethic. Couple this mentality with a very sound technical and tactical game and I’m excited to see her get an opportunity with our team.”
Lang’s club team, Kansas City Athletics, advanced to the ECNL Champions League in both 2022 and 2023. She earned 5A All-State honors in both seasons she played for Blue Valley Southwest High School.
“I couldn’t be more excited to join a program and a university whose dedication to excellence and growth matches the high standards I have set for myself,” Lang said. “The coaching staff, players and UF have a championship drive that I can’t wait to be a part of. Go Gators!!!”
Lang is the 11th newcomer to join the Gators for the 2025 season. UF signed six freshmen last month and announced the additions of Notre Dame transfer Abby Gemma, Clemson transfer Emilia Eriksen, South Carolina transfer Brinley Murphy and Penn State transfer Addy Hess in the last week.
