CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – The 2024 Atlantic Coast Conference men’s soccer season regular season comes to a close on Friday, November 1, with seven matches on the slate.
With a three-point lead in the conference standings, Pitt has clinched at least a share of the ACC regular-season title. The Panthers can win the title outright and earn the No. 1 seed in the upcoming ACC Championship with a win or draw on Friday at Syracuse or with a Clemson loss or draw against Virginia Tech.
Seven ACC teams are ranked in the United Soccer Coaches Poll, including four in the top 10. Both totals are the most of any conference. Clemson is No. 2 nationally and is followed by Pitt (3), Duke (5), North Carolina (8), NC State (12), SMU (20) and Stanford (22).
ACC Network features the Boston College at No. 8 North Carolina match at 7:30 p.m. ET on Friday.
The ACC Championship, featuring all 15 teams, begins Wednesday, November 6, with seven first-round games at campus sites.
