Pitt Battles to a 0-0 Draw in Coral Gables

CORAL GABLES, FL – Junior goalkeeper Ellie Breech recorded five saves and Pitt held an 11-9 shot advantage over Miami, but neither team could find the back of the net in a 0-0 draw at Cobb Stadium Thursday evening.

Pitt, ranked No. 8 in the Top Drawer Soccer Poll, moved to 9-3-3 overall and 3-2-2 in the ACC. The Panthers are unbeaten in their past four matches with shutouts in each of the past two outings.

With winds swirling in Coral Gables the game featured a lot of back-and-forth action, but little sustained possession in the final third of the field.
