- Riding a seven-match winning streak, the second-ranked Duke women’s soccer team continues its homestand Thursday, Sept. 3 as the Blue Devils (7-1, 2-0-0 ACC) host 25th-ranked Virginia (8-3-0, 1-3-0) at Koskinen Stadium for a 7 p.m., opening kick.
- Thursday’s contest will be aired live on ACC Network Extra with Dean Linke (PXP) and Matt Stradley (Analyst) on the call.
- Duke has scored a goal in the first half in seven straight matches, which is the longest streak since 2017 when the Blue Devils had eight matches in a row in August/September.
- For the first time in program history under head coach Robbie Church, Duke has scored three or more goals in four straight matches. The Blue Devils also accomplished this in 1990, 1997 and 2000 under Bill Hempen.
- On the season, Duke has scored 26 goals by 12 different players.
- Robbie Church announced on July 22, 2024 he will be retiring at the end of the season and Duke will be promoting associate head coach Kieran Hall to head coach in 2025. Current assistant coach Carla Overbeck will move to associate head coach in 2025 as well.

- Blue Devil head coach Robbie Church reached the 300-win mark in the last match against SMU. He is the winningest coach in Duke history.
- For the ninth time in program lore, Duke has opened ACC play with a 2-0 record (2024, 2022, 2018, 2017, 2014, 2011, 2004, 1997, 1995).
- Fifth year Ella Hase owns five assists, all of which have come over the last four matches. She tallied two against Missouri and SMU. Her five assists ranks tied for fourth in the ACC.
- Devin Lynch has scored or assisted in four straight matches, which are also Lynch’s first four starts of the year. She owns two goals and four assists during that stretch.
