Arsenal's Bukayo Saka has a message for title rivals Liverpool & Man City

Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka has warned both Liverpool and Manchester City by claiming that this could be the year the Gunners win the Premier League title.

Mikel Arteta’s team have been a part of the Premier League title race for the last two seasons.

However, on both the occasions, they have failed to win the league title in the final stage of the season and lost against Pep Guardiola’s Man City side.

The Gunners have closed the gap on Man City though and it seems like they are going to go up against another contender this season in Arne Slot’s Liverpool side, who are currently sitting at the top of the league.

Saka, who is currently captain of the Arsenal team due to Martin Odegaard’s injury, has claimed that his could be his team’s year to win the league title.

The English attacker was talking to CBS Sports after his team’s 2-0 win against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.

He was asked by Arsenal legend Thierry Henry about his team’s chances of winning the league title.

“I don’t want to put too much pressure on us but I do think this is the year.

“I think we’ve been close the last two years and we’re getting closer but this will hopefully be the year.”

Liverpool and Man City have more experience than Arsenal

The comments made by Saka shows how much confident he is about his team’s chances of winning this season.

The Gunners have shown they have what it takes to win the league but all they need is a bit more experience and maturity towards the final stage of the season.

It is still an optimistic claim from Saka though, with 32 matches still to be played in the season.

Both Liverpool and Man City have the experience of winning the league title and that is something that could help them against this talented, young Arsenal side.

The title race promises to be exciting and Liverpool would be hoping to join the other two teams in the race to win the Premier League.
