The Hokies will face ACC rival Louisville under the lights at Thompson Field on Thursday, Sept. 26, at 7 p.m. ET. Fans won’t want to miss the action, with exciting giveaways and special promotions available for all in attendance. Here are five reasons to attend and cheer on Tech during this ACC showdown.

1. Breast Cancer Awareness Night. Fill the stands at Thompson Field in support of those impacted by Breast Cancer. Join us in raising awareness for a cause that touches so many in our community. This is a meaningful opportunity to show solidarity and support for all those affected, while cheering on the Hokies.

2. Pink Out. Let’s Pink Out Thompson Field as fans are encouraged to wear pink in solidarity with Breast Cancer Awareness.

3. Giveaway: Early arriving fans will have the chance to receive a Pink Bandana as part of the overall theme, while supplies last. Arrive early to make sure you don’t miss out on this special item!

4. Second ACC Matchup at home. This game marks Virginia Tech’s second ACC home matchup of the 2024 season, following a dominant shutout victory over Syracuse on Sunday, Sept. 15. With only four more ACC home games left on the slate, this is a prime opportunity to come out and support the Hokies.

5. Standout Players. The Hokies’ roster features standout players to keep an eye on, including goalkeeper Lauren Hargrove, who recently earned ACC Defensive Player of the Week honors with an impressive .929 save percentage over two games. Earlier this season, Allie George also secured ACC Defensive Player of the Week recognition after scoring in back-to-back games against Loyola and High Point. This matchup offers the perfect chance to see both these Hokies in action as they continue to make a significant impact on the pitch.
