ALBANY, N.Y. – The UAlbany men’s soccer program (2-4-1,0-0-0 America East) is looking to extend its undefeated streak to three matches this week against Lafayette College as they hit the road Tuesday night.

Last Time Out:
The Great Danes are coming off a match in which they tied Cornell at Casey Stadium in a 2-2 contest. Ander Castillo led the Purple and Gold in the match, scoring both goals for UAlbany, being assisted by both Ethan Cook and Christos Efstathiou.
 
Anders currently leads UAlbany with six points from three goals having also scored last week in the team’s 2-0 victory at Marist. In Assists Efstathiou is joined by Timo Jansen as the team leader in assists with two each.
 
Daniel Shannon (2-4-1) and Parker Kump (0-3-1), have both played a fair even time in net for the Great Danes with Kump just leading Shannon in minutes in goal with Jumps 321:09 minutes to Shannon’s 308:51. In net, Shannon has allowed just four goals against 52 shots with 18 saves for a 1.17 goals against average and 0.818 save percentage. Kump has allowed seven goals with 10 saves against 50 shots faced for a 1.96 goals against average and 0.588 save percentage.
 
Looking at Lafayette:
The Leopards are coming off a two-game losing streak having fallen 1-0 against Binghamton on Tuesday, September 10 followed by a 2-1 loss against Colgate on Saturday, September 14.
 
As a team, Lafayette has scored seven goals averaging 1.17 goals per game while taking 64 shots and 10.7 shots per game. Of their 64 shots, 33 have been on goal, accumulating a 0.516 shots-on-goal percentage. To this point in the season, they’ve accumulated 70 fouls with nine yellow cards
 
Roy Biegon and Beaux Lizewski lead the Leopards with five points each with Biegon scoring a team-high two goals with Lizewski leading the team with three assists. Biegon is joined by Cade Maglione leading the team with 10 shots and four shots on goal.
 
Griffin Huff (1-2-2) has spent the most time in net for the Leopards with a total time of 450 minutes in goal making 18 saves from 52 shots with five goals allowed a 1.00 goals against average and a 0.783 save percentage.
