The Great Danes are coming off a 2-nil win against Marist on Monday, September 9. The defense was led by Daniel Shannon, who recorded his first shutout of the season. Looking at Cornell:
Before traveling to UAlbany, Cornell played two matches on the road, tying Georgetown University (1-1) on Friday, September 6 in Washington D.C., and winning at Penn State University (3-2) on Monday. September 9.
After three games, the Big Red have recorded eight goals while allowing four against their opponents and average 2.67 goals scored per match. In total, they’ve tallied 42 shots for an average of 14.0 shots per game while going 19-42 in shots on goal to shots.
