CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson Tigers will take on the Virginia Tech Hokies on Thursday, September 12 at Historic Riggs Field. The match is slated for 7 p.m. and will be streamed on ACCNX. This marks the Tigers first conference game of the year as they wrapped up non-conference play with Charlotte this past Sunday.
The Tigers are coming off a recent 0-0 draw against the Charlotte 49ers ending their non-conference slate on the road. The Tigers were able to get 11 shots off and four shots on goal against the 49ers while Charlotte finished the night with only two shots attempted.
The Hokies are coming off a recent 1-0 loss to Northwestern on the road in Evanston. Clemson leads the all-time series 10-6-4 against Virginia Tech. The last time the Tigers and Hokies met was last year when the Tigers took a 1-0 victory on the road.
The theme of the match is Youth Team Day and Camper Reunion and the first 500 fans will receive a free Clemson Vuvuzela.
