RB Salzburg vs Dynamo Kyiv: Preview, predictions, team news

FC Red Bull Salzburg v SK Puntigamer Sturm Graz - Uniqa OEFB Cup

Red Bull Salzburg will look to clinch their 2024/25 Champions League berth in front of a home crowd against Dynamo Kyiv.

RB Salzburg came out on top last Wednesday against Dynamo Kyiv, winning the first leg of their Champions League playoff tie 2-0. Pepijn Lijnders’ squad will look to replicate their performance at Red Bull Arena and become one of the first teams to make it out of the qualifying gauntlet.

Dynamo, on the other hand, will need a massive performance away from home if they want to keep their Champions League hopes alive. After being held scoreless for the first time since May, the Ukrainian giants must bounce back and find the back of the net to pressure the 17-time Austrian champions.

Here’s 90min’s guide to RB Salzburg vs Dynamo Kyiv on Tuesday, Aug. 27.
