If Federico Chiesa arrives at Liverpool then Ben Doak could depart, with Leicester and Southampton interested

Fellow German club RB Leipzig and Italian side Atalanta were interested earlier in the window.

Morton has previously had loan spells at Blackburn Rovers and Hull City.

If Liverpool sign Federico Chiesa from Juventus it could trigger Ben Doak’s departure with Leicester and Southampton interested.

Chiesa has made it clear he wants to join Liverpool if the clubs can agree a fee.

The Italian has one year left on contract and is valued at around £12.75million with Liverpool discussing a four year contract.
