No. 13 Cavaliers Set to Host Colgate Sunday

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — The No. 13 Virginia’ mens soccer team (1-0-0) is set to host Colgate (0-1-0) to Klöckner Stadium on Sunday (Aug. 25). Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.

Tickets Available
Single game tickets are also on sale with general admission tickets starting at $8 and reserved seats starting at $12. Concessions will be available at Klöckner Stadium for all home games and a clear bag policy is in effect. Outside food and drink is not permitted.

Noting Colgate

Last Time Out

  • Virginia began the season with a 3-0 win over Rider at Klöckner Stadium
  • Danny Mangarov, Kome Ubogu and Nick Dang were among the goal scorers while Reese Miller, Paul Wiese and Albin Gashi each contributed assists
  • Nick Dang scored his first goal as a Cavalier and became the first Virginia player to score on his debut since Mangarov accomplished the feat—also against Rider (8/9/22)
  • Sophomore Cesar Cordova made his first collegiate start playing 78 minutes while registering four shots in the match

New Look Cavaliers

  • The Cavaliers 2024 roster consists of 25 retuning players and 17 newcomers (nine transfers, eight freshmen).
