CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – The 71st season of Atlantic Coast Conference men’s soccer begins Thursday, with all 15 programs in the new-look league in action. ACC men’s soccer grows to 15 teams in 2024 with the addition of Cal, SMU and Stanford. All 15 programs will compete in one division this season.
Ten ACC teams are ranked in the United Soccer Coaches poll, including five in the top 10. Both totals are the most of any conference: Clemson (1), Notre Dame (2), Stanford (5), North Carolina (6), SMU (10), Virginia (13), Wake Forest (15), Duke (20), Louisville (24) and Syracuse (25).
Conference play begins Friday, Sept. 6. The ACC Tournament, featuring a 15-team field, starts Nov. 6.
