Leicester City on verge of completing deal to sign Euro 2024 striker

West Ham to compete with Tottenham for 22-year-old defender

Leicester City are looking for reinforcements as they prepare for life in the Premier League.

The Foxes won the Championship last season but soon after sealing their promotion to the Premier League, they lost manager Enzo Maresca and midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall to Chelsea.

Now they are actively looking for new players in the market to deal with life in England’s top flight.

The newly promoted Premier League club are close to agreeing a deal to sign Euro 2024 striker this summer.

According to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, Steve Cooper’s team are in advanced talks to sign Adam Hložek from Leverkusen.

His is currently arriving at the King Power Stadium on a loan move with an obligation to buy, bolstering Leicester’s attack ahead of the new season.

The update from Romano suggests that it is only a matter of time before the former Premier League champions complete the signing of the 22-year-old Czech Republic player, who represented his country at the Euros this summer.

The striker got limited playing time at Leverkusen last season as he only made 23 appearances for the German champions, scoring two goals.

However, in the DFB Pokal, he played four matches and scored three times for Xabi Alonso’s team.
