Inter Miami predicted lineup vs Tigres UANL: Leagues Cup 2024

Tomas Aviles could return to the backline

Inter Miami return to action this weekend to take on Liga MX giants Tigres UANL in Leagues Cup play.

The Herons are all set to face off against Tigres at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas, without the legendary Lionel Messi as the veteran forward is still recovering from a nasty ankle injury suffered in the Copa America final. Even without Messi in the side, Miami managed to pick up three points last time out in their Leagues Cup opening fixture at home vs Puebla.

The Inter Miami vs Tigres UANL match begins at 8 p.m. ET and is available on MLS Season Pass via Apple TV.

However, the Herons will now face a new challenge in Tigres as the Mexican club are one of the best sides in all of North America. However, the match might not live up to expectations given both Miami and Tigres have accumulated three points each while Puebla have already been shown the exit door with zero points from two matches.

With both teams in the knockout stage, Gerardo ‘Tata’ Martino could look to give some youngsters a bit of playing time, or he could have his sights set on finishing atop the group for seeding purposes.

Here’s how Miami could take the pitch vs Tigres.
