COLLEGE PARK, MD — The Big Ten announced its women’s soccer television schedule for the 2024 season in a release on Tuesday. The Maryland women’s soccer program will play one of its regular season games on the Big Ten Network when the Terps head to Champaign, Illinois to take on the Illinois Fighting Illini on Sept. 29 at 3 PM.
This is the lone game for the Terps on Big Ten Network for the 2024 season. The Terps hold a 3-4-1 record against the Illini all-time, with the last match-up being a 3-2 defeat in College Park back in 2022. The last win for Maryland in the series came in 2019, with the Terps winning a 6-2 contest at Ludwig Field.
The Terps begin the 2024 season on the road, as they travel to lewisburg, Pennsylvania to take on Lehigh on Aug. 15 at 6 p.m.
