Vancouver Whitecaps FC vs Wrexham: Preview, predictions, team news

Mathias Laborda

Wrexham’s final match of the Wrex Coast Tour ’24 comes against the Vancouver Whitecaps on July 27, and the Red Dragons will be eager to get their first win of the tour.

After playing Bournemouth and Chelsea in California, Wrexham will conclude their North America pre-season matches in Vancouver, where co-owner, Ryan Reynolds, grew up. The Red Dragons managed two impressive draws against both Premier League sides as they prepare for their first season in League One since 2004.

Wrexham’s final test on the Wrex Coast Tour ’24 might not be another Premier League club, but they will still face a credible challenge from the MLS‘ Vancouver Whitecaps, who currently sit in fifth place of the Western Conference. Vancouver will be eager to bounce back from their recent defeat against the Houston Dynamo and go into Leagues Cup with a victory.

Here’s 90min’s guide to Vancouver Whitecaps FC vs Wrexham.
