Atletico Madrid have revealed the price that they are willing to sell Joao Felix for this summer.

The attacker is due to return to Atletico for pre-season training on July 26 after representing Portugal at Euro 2024.

However, Atletico, including manager Diego Simeone, are eager for Felix’s future to be resolved before that date.

Felix, 24, has been at Atletico since 2019, when he joined from Benfica for £114million.

After spending the second half of the 2022-23 season on loan at Chelsea, Felix was with Barcelona for the 2023-24 campaign, with the Catalan club eager to re-sign him.

According to Marca, Atletico are only willing to sell Felix permanently and will not consider any further loan moves, which could rule Barcelona out of contention to sign him given that they want another temporary deal.

The report states that Atletico have set a price of €60million (£50million) for the sale of Felix.

Atletico are eager to raise money that they can put towards big-name signings.

Villa are interested in a deal for Felix, who scored ten goals for Barcelona last season. Unai Emery’s side would be able to meet Atletico’s asking price.

During his time at Atletico Felix has played 131 games and has scored 34 goals, while he has provided 18 assists.

Felix made two appearances at Euro 2024 and missed in the shootout as Portugal were knocked out by France in the quarter-finals.
