Duke Alumna Mackenzie Pluck Signs with Gotham FC


HARRISON, N.J. – Former Duke women’s soccer standout Mackenzie Pluck has signed a National Team Replacement Player (NTRP) contract with NJ/NY Gotham FC, as announced by the club on Thursday. 
 
Pluck along with three other signees will occupy roster spaces for the club during the international window and will be available for selection as of Gotham FC’s next match on Saturday.
 
A 2022 Blue Devil graduate, Pluck has been training with Gotham during the 2024 campaign and is in her second professional season.  She played with Angel City FC last year and saw action in six matches.  Over her career at Duke, Pluck registered 21 goals and 29 assists in 107 matches. 
 
Pluck reunites with former Duke teammate Ella Stevens, who is in her first season with Gotham FC. 
 
Gotham FC will return to action as the team begins the NWSL x LIGA MX Summer Cup against the Chicago Red Stars Saturday, July 20, with kickoff set for 5:00 p.m., on CBS Sports.
