It’s official – Gareth Southgate is no longer the England manager.
After 102 games and almost eight years in charge, Gareth Southgate has announced he is to leave his role as manager of the #ThreeLions.

Defeat in Sunday’s Euro 2024 final to Spain proved to be his last game in charge of the Three Lions, and he announced his decision to stand down just two days later, releasing a statement to the public.

English football was in ruin when he took the job back in 2016, shortly after the country’s infamous Euros exit to Iceland and Sam Allardyce’s sacking after only one game in charge.
