📈 MLS Power Rankings: Major shakeup after a dramatic weekend

We’re back with another edition of the MLS Power Rankings and the top-ten got a major shakeup thanks to some staggering results across the league on matchday 26. Let’s see who made the biggest jumps.

10. Seattle Sounders (🆕)

Don’t look now, but here come the Sounders. Led by the streaking Jordan Morris, Seattle have climbed up into the top-seven in the West thanks to a fourth straight win in MLS.

9. Charlotte FC (🆕)

Dean Smith’s boys just don’t seem to go away. After a small blip in the last few weeks, the Crown bounced back with a superb victory away from home against Cincinnati to shake up the Supporters Shield race and close in on the top-four in the East. They did it all without Patrick Agyemang to boot.

6. Real Salt Lake (👎 last rank: 5)

The Sandy outfit have dropped in our rankings once again as they failed another test against a fellow Western Conference contender. A 3-0 loss in Portland showed yet again that when they come against the big boys in this league they just come up short.

To make matters worse, they will be missing their star striker for the next few games due to suspension.

5. Portland Timbers (👍 last rank: 7)

Portland are humming along quite nicely, and nobody seems to have noticed. After winning four of their last five games in…
