USC Soccer Signs Transfer Goalkeeper Phoebe Carver

LOS ANGELES – The USC women’s soccer team announced another addition to its incoming class this week, welcoming in transfer goalkeeper Phoebe Carver from Arkansas. 

Carver joins the Trojans after playing her freshman season in Fayetteville, where she started 14 games for the No. 17 Razorbacks.

USC announced its incoming class in January, with the Trojan freshmen ranked the No. 8 class in the nation. Carver is one of five transfers to sign on with the Trojans this offseason, joining Maria Alagoa, Molly McDougal, Maile Hayes and Laurence Gladu.

Previous School: Arkansas

High School/Club: Bishop O’Connell HS/Arlington Soccer Association ECNL

Highlights:

  • Made 14 starts in goal and played 1,080 minutes for No. 17 Arkansas as a freshman in 2023.
  • Posted an 8-2-0 record in goal, with six shutouts and a 0.67 goals against average.
  • Ranked No. 3 in the SEC with four shutouts in league play.
  • Ranked No. 2 in the SEC with an .897 save percentage and a 0.40 GAA mark in conference matches.
  • Posted a career-high eight saves against Pitt in the NCAA Tournament.
