Pundit backs Spurs to sign midfielder Eberechi Eze

Chelsea rival Tottenham for Palace star

Tottenham hold genuine interest in the services of Crystal Palace midfielder Eberechi Eze.

The English midfielder was selected by Gareth Southgate to become a part of England’s squad for Euro 2024.

His fine performances for the Eagles have not gone unnoticed and some of the biggest Premier League clubs are interested in taking him away from Palace.

The Lilywhites are prepared to activate the £60 million release clause of the midfielder, who scored 11 goals in the Premier League last season.

Alan Hutton, a former Tottenham defender, claims that Daniel Levy is getting ready to shell out a big sum of money to recruit the England international.

“If he’s going to be available for that price, I think Levy will spend it.”

Even though Eze extended his contract in November of last year, he could still be leaving Selhurst Park.

His current deal with the Premier League club runs until 2027.

Tottenham should not think twice to sign Eze

With teams interested in signing the midfielder, a good performance in the Euro this summer might make it even more harder for Palace to hold on to their prized asset.

Eze can not only provide goals from the midfield but also creativity and versatility considering he can play in a number of different positions.
